Write a reflection about what it means to be a woman today. Then, read the two short articles from today's newspaper; how do they make you feel?
I think what it means to be a women is to live and care for your family while you cook and clean. And it also means having a choice to be what you want when you grow up. Before women couldn't vote now they can.

The women in my life is my mom whenever I see her cook or clean I wonder is it fair? And then I thought it isn't because before women couldn't do what they want like vote they had to stay home and cook and clean but most women did not like to do that but they had to.
In some countries like Saudi Arabia women cannot travel or go to university without the approval of a male "Guardian". Also in court a man's testimony is equal of two women's. So you can tell that it is pretty unfair. What it means to be a women is tough especially if in a country that revered men than it would be hard to get a job or go to school without a mans consent.

When I saw the two articles I wasn't really shocked or surprised because in this economy women getting a job where usually a man does is getting pretty common like in the TTC so probably in a few years the number of women and man having a job as a government will be equal.I think that women getting more money in the same job and rank is unfair because I think that talking about women having their rights taken away is sad but what about a mans rights? I mean If a women earns more money we should earn the same don't you think? This just proves that democracy is falling down.

This means for women that they are suddenly getting more rights and bold because in the article it said the man was shocked to see a female taxi driver that means there weren't much of them so they are suddenly have a change of thought for work. I think that in decades women are going to have more rights than men because suddenly there are a lot of women doing a mans job and that our roles are going to be switched from now on.

So that's what I feel about women and how they affect our lives even though there are more women than us by a tiny bit it is still unfair how men exclude women from working and feeling free to make their own choice.
